THOMAS STEPHENSON'S ARTIST STATEMENT My work is an exploration of color, texture, emotion, and the quiet connection between nature and the human experience. Through acrylic painting, I use expressive color, movement, and layered forms to create works that invite the viewer to pause, feel, and discover something personal within the image.

I am drawn to the beauty found in organic shapes, changing light, natural textures, and the unexpected relationships between colors. Rather than simply recreating what I see, I strive to capture the feeling behind it—the energy of a moment, the atmosphere of a place, or an emotion that may be difficult to put into words.
